How do I batch-export every article in a WeChat collection?
Open the public collection page first. Its address contains /mp/appmsgalbum. Then use the on-page Collection Archive button. A single-article page can save only that article.
- Confirm you are on the collection page
An address starting with
/sis one article. Open the collection from the article, or paste the collection link into Chrome or Edge. - Use the button on the page
The toolbar popup only points you back to the on-page tool. Refresh the collection page, then start from the Collection Archive card.
- Keep the order you see
The download follows the ascending or descending order on the page when you click. The first run asks for a local folder. Later volumes continue in that folder.
The free trial is separate from single-article exports
An unlocked install can try a collection once and export at most 5 articles. That trial is not the monthly allowance of 10 single-article exports. The trial is used only after the browser confirms the download. Cancel or failure does not mark the current volume as finished.
The full plan can archive the whole public collection
The full plan supports a complete archive, incremental updates, volumes and resume. The default volume is 20 articles per ZIP, and a volume is split only when images exceed the size limit. After an interruption, continue from the last finished volume. Prices and entitlements stay on the pricing page. This page does not quote a price.
